Fostering dignity within the gay male cohort.
Fostering dignity within the gay male cohort.
At the Gay Men's Alliance, we champion the well-being of gay men. With love and kindness as our prime directives, we foster individual dignity and personal responsibility, affirm affinity spaces for gay men and others, celebrate diversity of thought, reject compelled speech, and may choose to stand with other causes, supporting them as proud gay men.
We are located in Los Angeles, CA, USA.
We meet monthly in welcoming, lightly facilitated gatherings at private homes or select public venues that offer the privacy needed for open, honest discussions about gay men’s well-being—exclusively among gay men.
Mike Gerle founded the Gay Men's Alliance in early 2025.
Born in Nebraska, he now resides in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. He is a retired West Hollywood City Hall bureaucrat, a trained yoga instructor, International Mister Leather 2007, a trained neurolinguistic programming (NLP) coach, a JustForFans content creator, and the facilitator of a long-running Gay Men's Discussion Group at the West Hollywood Library.
He currently writes Going Deep: A Gay Guide to Reality on Substack and has authored a memoir, Drama Club, about being actively gay and Mormon during high school in 1982 Idaho.
With a deep appreciation for the strength and connection found in all-male-gay spaces, he launched this initiative to create that experience again with like-minded men.
